Walking on Fire is about walking through fear, a massive experience that plants a seed in our unconscious. The experience gives us a gigantic reference that really makes us consider what is possible. I think just about everybody will think, “If I can walk on the fire and not get burned, what else is possible?”

Just the empowerment part of it is spectacular. Only some things are authentic like this. That can make such a big difference like this. It’s not theoretical or philosophical; you are overcoming a real-life force. What I got from it was that it just gave me a massive reference for what else was possible, and getting over that fear helps us overcome a whole load of other fears. You end up thinking, if I can do that, what else can I do that I didn’t think I could do?

Getting over that fear helps us because it’s hardwired. This programme was such a compelling experience because you have to live through it to teach it. After I went through it, I taught firewalking in all my breathwork seminars. When you can overcome that natural fear, embrace it, know it and have learned its transformative powers, overcoming things in your head becomes a lot easier.

My early breath work seminars took away the fear of failure, poverty, not being good enough, and not being good enough to make a difference in the world. It just dissolves a lot of that stuff because you have such powerful, unarguable experiences that you cannot make go away. You can’t get around it.

The most potent element in the breath is the fire element. It’s a purification breath. We’re talking about a fire that we are creating with our breath and that when we awaken, we can resonate with the outer Fire that increases our frequency and vibrancy. Everybody who does breathwork has always gotten a lot more out of the Firewalk, and people who have done Firewalk always get more out of breathwork. Hence, it’s such a good marriage.

During my FIT, I learned how to manage my energy and mindset. You get proof and confirmation of your intuition, and you get a sense of what the voice in your head is, the one that you want to listen to. You’ll start to recognise the voice that is resonating with your heart, the one that you want to pay attention to because that’s the one that’ll bring you joy, that’s the one that’ll move you forward.
